The Blockchain Roundtable in the German Bundestag

The Blockchain Roundtable brings crypto and blockchain topics into the Bundestag. Matthias Steger co-organised rounds 6 and 7. The seventh, on 10 June 2026, drew almost 300 participants.

Our role

The roundtable is an event series in the German Bundestag. Earlier rounds include the first roundtable on 28 April 2022 on the taxation of crypto income and the fifth on 10 January 2025, titled “Bitcoin – the better money?” (NWB, Bitcoin Bundesverband).

Matthias Steger co-organised the sixth and seventh roundtables. The seventh took place on 10 June 2026 under the title “AI & blockchain: building blocks of digital sovereignty” and drew almost 300 participants.
